[Guide] [Guide] Paper copy: follow traders with virtual money
Paper copy lets you follow traders with virtual money before risking real money. Every month the top 10 by return win funded live accounts.
Getting started
- Set a starting paper balance in Paper copy (e.g. $10,000).
- On a trader or strategy page in Copy traders or Verified, press [Paper copy]
- Choose the amount and mode.
- Ratio (recommended): follows the trader's return. Pick 1–10x leverage; a recommended leverage based on the trader's max drawdown is shown.
- Fixed multiplier: N× the trader's order size (lots). If account sizes differ a lot, your risk changes a lot.
How it's calculated
- Like real copying, only trades opened after you start are followed. Positions already open are excluded.
- Value = realized P&L since you started + floating P&L of open positions
- If losses wipe out your allocation, it's liquidated automatically and you get a message.
- Pressing Stop returns the value at that moment (including open positions) to your balance.
Ranking and prizes
- Rankings are recalculated every 5 minutes. The monthly tab ranks that month's return; the all-time tab ranks return since you started.
- Each month closes on the 1st at 07:00 KST → 1st: $100,000 funded account; 2nd–5th: $10,000 funded account; 6th–10th: $10,000 funded challenge. Details in Events.
